Andy Whiddon answered this question effectively by clarifying the nature of the Creator’s activity on Day 4 as contrasted to Day 1. [Disclaimer: The Young Biosphere Creation model, however,  interprets “let there be light” as referring to the thinning of the atmosphere to allow more light to reach Earth.]
